1922 Western Electric 14-A Loudspeaking System, a three-stage Western Electric tube amplifier combined with a Western Electric horn loudspeaker.
Condition is good, and the amplifier and horn are original throughout. No damaged or replacement parts anywhere. Front panel is clean, with no damage. Cabinet finish is original, and it’s good on all sides, with normal crazing consistent with age and authenticity. Grill cloth is original, and it’s in decent shape, with some rends in the fabric, but nothing too distracting. All of the knobs and switches are original, and all of them are in good condition.
Chassis is clean, and all three transformers are correct and original. All wiring is original, too.
Speaker driver is original, and it tests good.
Comes with 3 good filament Western Electric 216-A tennis ball tubes, two of which test for good emissions (37 or higher on a TV-7 tube tester).
