Excellent, working 1898 Columbia BS coin-operated cylinder phonograph. The machine is complete and correct, and it has no replica parts.

Original cabinet, original finish, original cabinet decal, original wood marquee with original turn-screws on back, original curved glass front, original glass panels on the side and the back, original coin mechanism and coin box, original phonograph mechanism, original clutched crank, original Columbia 2-piece coin-op horn, with an angled elbow that slips into the nozzle, original and correct Columbia coin-op reproducer, with a weight on top and a set screw on the neck that keeps the reproducer secured to the carriage.

The paper sign in the marquee is a flawless photo-replica, indistinguishable from the original, but the machine is otherwise original throughout. It runs well, and — as you can see in the video below — it’s quite entertaining to watch.

Included with the machine a re-mastered Vulcan celluloid cylinder that can be played dozens of times (actually hundreds) before significant degradation in the audio.
