Pristine ca. 1906 Columbia AH/BI hybrid disc phonograph with a stunning, all-original Hawthorne & Sheble flower horn.
Condition is outstanding. Clean original cabinet finish, crisp original cabinet decal, undamaged molding and trim, original oxide finish on the decorative handle and hardware, clean back-bracket with original nickel plating, clean dust ring with original nickel plating (and no dings or dents).
Mechanism is likewise clean and original, with no issues. The two-spring motor is strong, the phonograph runs well, and it plays without turntable wobble or changes in pitch.
The Hawthorne & Sheble morning horn is completely original, and its condition is exceptional. No dings, no dents, no damage. The original hand-painted flowers lining the interior are nearly perfect, with no flaking paint, no fading colors. Even the horn’s exterior retains its original red iridescent sheen.
