1912 Victor V Phonograph With Original Spear Tip Horn

1912 Victor V Phonograph With Original Spear Tip Horn * Near Mint, No Replica Parts
Exceptionally nice Victor V with a pristine original 22″ diameter “spear tip” horn.
The V was Victor’s top-of-the-line oak phonograph. It was also the ultimate workhorse, with a massive 3-spring motor capable of playing multiple sides with a single winding.
This V is as clean as they come, and it’s ready to go.
Machine and horn are richly grained oak and perfectly matched. Original cabinet finish, with original paper labels inside and on the underside of the baseboard. Original finish on the Victor Spear Tip horn and original Nipper decal, too. Clean motor, quiet gearing, run well, sounds great.
Original back-bracket enamel is glossy, and the original decorations are prominent.
Original crank, brake, horn elbow, etc. Scattered areas of oxidation and pitting on the turntable rim and the felt has been replaced; the phonograph is otherwise almost like new.
This is what is often called a museum quality phonograph, and it will arrive ready to display and play.
