Hard-to-find Zon-O-Phone “B” disc phonograph, with a flat bedplate, a leather horn elbow, a small crank, and a closed-face, four-screw Concert Sound Box.
There’s a repair to the underside of the horn’s bell (see the close-up photo), and the leather elbow and horn support have been replaced, but the phonograph is otherwise in very good original condition.
The cabinet finish is in clean and original. The wood panels, ribs, and lower molding are all in excellent condition, with no issues. Nickel plating is good all around, with some tarnish, oxidation and plating wear evident on the bedplate and some spot oxidation and nickel wear on the rim of the turntable. Nice arms with no damage, no repairs.
Original closed-face Zon-O-Phone reproducer likewise has good original nickel-plating, with some pitting and oxidation, but nothing significant. The celluloid tag is complete and correct, and the lettering on the tag is legible. Mechanism is clean; cabinet interior is clean.
Runs well.
