Gorgeous Victor V disc phonograph with a rare Hawthorne & Sheble “Artistic” flower horn. Phonograph and horn are both ca. 1910, and both are in exceptionally nice original condition.

The V was Victor’s top-of-the-line oak phonograph and its largest oak phonograph. It was also the ultimate workhorse, with a massive 3-spring motor capable of playing multiple sides with a single winding.

Condition of this Victor V is excellent, close to mint, and it’s completely original. There’s some scattered light pitting on the tonearm, but there are no replica parts, no repairs, no refinishing, no issues whatsoever. The back-bracket decorations are nearly flawless, and both paper labels (one inside the cabinet, the other on the underside of the base) are still intact and nearly perfect.

Original crank, original brake, original horn elbow, original turntable felt, etc. Scattered areas of surface oxidation on the nickel-plated tonearm, but the phonograph is otherwise almost like new.
