1901 Zon-O-Phone Glass-Sided “A” Phonograph With Close-Faced V Reproducer * Exceptional * No Replica Parts
As early Zon-O-Phones go, it doesn’t get much better than this — completely original and very clean, with a desirable close-faced “V” reproducer.
Cabinet finish is smooth; wood and trim are outstanding, with no issues; beveled glass panels are flawlessly cut and undamaged; nickel plating is excellent all around (the plating on the reproducer is particularly nice, and like every other aspect of this phonograph, it’s original); celluloid tag is complete and the lettering on the tag is crisp; horn and elbow are nearly perfect; mechanism is spotless; very little pitting or oxidation anywhere; original purple felt still lines the bottom interior of the cabinet; and the original feet are intact on the underside of the base.
Runs well.
