Early, beautifully made, battery-powered portable X-Ray machine. The instrument was manufactured by Harry W. Cox in London shortly after Röntgen discovered X-Rays.
Condition is excellent, and the spark coil tests good. The X-Ray tube is clear with no cracks or other issues, the gutta percha stanchions are undamaged, and all the wood parts are clean and original.
The apparatus breaks down and sets up in a matter of minutes. All of the constituent parts can be stored inside the cabinet.
With the lid closed, measures approximately 21″ x 10″ x 11. Shipping weight, properly packed, will be approximately 45 lb.
Needless to say, there are risks involved in experimenting with this apparatus, so it is being offered with the understanding that the buyer is aware of these risks and will act responsibly if the tube is energized.
