C. 1890 Willyoung & Co. Laboratory Vacuum On Enameled Cast Iron Base
Large, beautiful laboratory demonstration vacuum manufactured by Elmer G. Willyoung & Co. in the late 1800’s.
Condition is excellent. Measures approximately 22″ x 10″ x 36″ and weighs approximately 50 lb. Enameled cast iron base, with original gold highlights, solid brass pump, original gauge, 14″ high blown glass bell jar, wood pump handle. Everything is clean, as you can see in the photographs. Gaskets appear to be viable. Platform nozzle is threaded for Magdeburg hemispheres.
Pump arm moves smoothly up down. Vacuum still works.
