Beautiful, seldom seen Model 7 breadboard radio manufactured by Atwater Kent in the spring of 1923. The radio is tested and working, and it includes a complete set of good emissions brass base tipped tubes — a 1-amp UV-200 detector tube and four 1/4-amp 01A amplifier tubes.

This Model 7 is factory built and factory-wired, with its original board finish still intact. Some light crazing, but nothing excessive or distracting.

The Type 11 tuner is still tightly wound (both windings), with no stains, and the engraved numbers and hash marks on the tuner’s dial are crisp and clear.

The paint on the TA island is original and in good condition, with scattered marks and areas of wear consistent with age and authenticity. The paint on the RF transformers is likewise original, with scattered marks and areas of wear. Both RF transformers are still good (all windings).

There’s a tiny, barely visible hairline on the periphery of the 2nd RF, but the parts are otherwise clean, original and completely correct.

The potting tar and components inside the TA are original and undisturbed, and both AF transformers are still good, as are both RF transformers. Wiring and staples on the underside of the board are original and correct. All four feet are original as well.
