Beautiful and highly collectible 1938 Climax “Emerald” radio. Like a Ferrari Testarossa, the Emerald’s design is timeless, and it looks stunning from any angle.
There were different iterations of the Emerald, but this is the most elegant, with an oval dial and a green tuning eye centered between the dial and the speaker grill.
The radio is in good working condition. Tunes stations, and plays them clearly. It has not been restored (cosmetically or electrically), so if you intend to play it regularly, you should have the electrolytics updated.
Original throughout, including cabinet finish, grill cloth, dial glass and knobs.
