Beautiful Victor II disc phonograph with an original Victor wood horn. Condition is outstanding.
Original cabinet finish, with secure wood joints everywhere. Mechanism is in excellent condition, and the phonograph runs quietly.
The back-bracket is clean, with glossy original enamel and prominent original decorations. Original nickel plating everywhere — on the brake, the turntable rim, the back-bracket bolts, the tonearm, etc.
Original paper oiling instructions are still intact on the interior side of the cabinet, and the original dealer’s label is still affixed to the underside of the baseboard.
The 20″ Victor tiger oak horn is likewise in excellent condition and is certainly worthy of the machine it complements. Like the phonograph, it’s clean and correct. Original finish, with normal crazing, and a crisp original Nipper decal. The nickel-plated collar still locks snugly into the elbow, and the patent data is blind-stamped into the original horn collar.
Victor Exhibition reproducer is in excellent condition. It looks great, and it sounds great.
The turntable felt has been replaced, but everything else is original and pristine.
An exceptional Victor II in all respects.
