Authentic 1922 Atwater Kent Type 2-A double-arm crystal detector.
Condition is excellent, and the detector still works when connected to an Atwater Kent tuner.
The brass parts exhibit light tarnish, and some of the blackening agent on the lower half of the first arm has worn off, but that’s the detector’s only concession to age. It’s otherwise pristine, with glossy bakelite surfaces (top side and underside), cleanly soldered connections (all original, no re-soldering), and no damage or repairs anywhere.
Overall, a really nice example of a very scarce item.
