Excellent Kennedy 281 regenerative radio and its companion 521 two-stage amplifier. Both components are clean, both components are correct, and both components are working.
Included with the pair is a very rare original operating manual.
The radio and amplifier have been together since they were new, and they’re perfectly matched. Glossy, undamaged panels; dials and knobs that turn easily; tightly wound tuners; original AF transformers; original wiring; original cabinet finish, original panel screws, etc.
The manual is in good condition, with dog-ears, creasing and other signs of acceptable wear consistent with age and use.
The radio and amp come with good brass base, tipped 1/4 amp 201a tubes.
