Early coherer detector made in Paris ca. 1905 by Nil Melior. Manufacturer’s name is blind-stamped into the front side of the base, and the metal distributor’s tag is affixed to the back side of the base.
The apparatus is clean throughout, with no damage evident anywhere. As you can see in the photographs, the instrument has a vertical orientation, which is unusual. Wood appears to be walnut or cherry, and the finish is original.
Measures approximately 7″ wide x 3″ deep x 4″ high. Shipping weight, properly packed, will be approximately 4 lb.
