Large, beautiful Victorian inductance apparatus ca. 1840-50.
Condition is all-original and excellent. Has both original electrodes (handles), and the original green fabric wrap is still intact on the coil.
Interconnecting wire is hidden between the two-strata baseboard.
Ends of the coil are cut glass, and the handle on the right pulls out the core that controls shock strength.
Measures 19″ x 17″ x 10″. Shipping weight approximately 30 lb.
